In a Daze

Sat Jan 10, 2004, 7:43 PM
That's kida how I've been lately. There are too many things going on at once to keep track. Monday was fine, in and out of school no biggie. Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday, however, I had to stay after and make up two quizzes and one test from being sick for two days before winter break!! I still have another test to make up! As my grandma Mems always says, "You can believe." Thursday was all right, though, I got to hang out with one of my friends after school and it was so much fun. She happens to be one of the most amazing people I've ever met, so that kinda took the edge off the AP Econ test (that I didn't know anything about).

Second semester is approaching fast, we've got one whole week and then two days and then the exams start rolling in. Probably going to go like this:

Wed, Jan 21: Math, AP Econ,
Thurs, Jan 22: Government
Fri, Jan 23: Film: Analysis and Genres, Computer Topics (hahahahah!), French 3

Speaking of which, I'm quitting French 3 for my second semester. Wondering why? Well, I'll tell you. Every morning I go into school I dread the fact that I have to go into that god awful class room at 7:25, wait around while people say the Pledge of Allegiance, and then learn confusing French grammar (explained IN FRENCH!) until 8:15. Then we'll have a quiz that I'll bomb. Then we'll have a test that I bomb a little bit less. Repeat. Throw in a real bitch of a teacher, an uncomfortable classroom, and a few people I definately don't like...that's a recipie for disaster. The only good thing is I get to hang out with a couple friends before that class...I'm going to miss that...but that's all I'll miss.

I don't know exactly how to say this, but I suck. Honestly, how long has it been since I put up ANYTHING new? I feel a bit on the lame side. Galen, when I call you a freak, don't friggn take me seriously. Ya freak. Well, I've got some neat stuff coming up. So keep on the lookout.

Merry xmas to anyone I haven't wished it on already. I got some really cool photog stuff...

1. Tabletop/compact tripod
2. 80-200mm Zoom Lens
3. Lomography Colorsplash camera (what a trip!)
4. Black and White Film (I can't get enough film...seriously...)
5. And I just ordered a Lomo (Lomography at www.lomography.com) photo bag, the Sidekick. Ohhh yes.

Among some interesting things, I got a few tapes from my sister, my brother and his girlfriend are going to be picking me up a few things in Japan while they're there for the New Year, and I bought myself a Zippo lighter with my name inscribed on the back. Cool, huh? Yeah, that's what I thought.

That's all for now, I just hope you people haven't forgotten about me. Heh.

It's easy to explain simple things so they seem to be complex...to explain complex things so they seem easy - that's the real challenge!
